Since most of their senior citizen residents are of Chinese background, I was inspired by many elements from traditional Chinese culture. Combining radicals from the Chinese character 福 meaning luck and an abstract image of a senior couple, I created the overall logomark to embody warmth and friendliness, with some sparkle of hope!
